OptiDCG4H2 Presented at The Energy Transition: Nordic Countries & the CETPartnership

The OptiDCG4H2 project was recently presented during the event The Energy Transition: Nordic Countries & the CETPartnership, organized by the Research Council of Norway.

The presentation highlighted the project’s work on the optimal operation and decentralized control of offshore DC grids for green hydrogen production, with a focus on integrating renewable energy sources, electrolyzers, and hybrid energy storage systems.

Key topics included offshore MVDC grid architectures, battery–supercapacitor energy storage, AI-driven energy management, techno-economic assessment, reliability, sustainability, and cost reduction strategies.

The event provided an excellent platform to discuss how advanced power electronics, intelligent control systems, and international collaboration can support the development of reliable, efficient, and scalable offshore hydrogen infrastructures.
