Join the OptiDCG4H2 project for a stakeholder workshop on off-grid offshore energy islands and green hydrogen production.
The workshop will explore how offshore wind, MVDC networks, decentralised control, electrolysers, and hybrid energy storage systems can support cost-efficient and reliable green hydrogen production. Participants will gain insights from the OptiDCG4H2 project, which is developing an innovative, modular, and intelligent energy system aimed at reducing hydrogen production costs while improving reliability.
The programme includes presentations from project partners and invited speakers, with topics covering offshore green hydrogen systems, converter development, battery-supercapacitor hybrid storage, forecast-aware energy management, cost assessment, and LCoH drivers. The day will conclude with a panel discussion on the commercial viability and future potential of offshore green hydrogen production.
Participation is open to stakeholders from research, industry, energy systems, hydrogen technologies, and the clean energy transition community.
